Strength in your Struggle
I used to hear the saying, "there's strength in your struggle", a lot at church and see it on inspirational cards in the grocery store, etc. I never really paid it much attention until I went through a long stream of trials. It seemed like I was hitting dead ends with my artwork, getting more rejection notices (or no response at all) from galleries, and receiving very little feedback on social media. But now when I look back, strength doesn't come from comfortable situations. It doesn't happen when you are experiencing success and popularity- nope!-
Strength comes during your struggle. That's what I realized.
That is also the meaning behind my latest painting.
My hope is that you find your strength too.
